Europe 2045 is a computer simulation designed to support the teaching of social sciences in secondary schools. The form resembles strategic computer games, but it attempts to present to the players the political, economic and social issues of united Europe and the world today in as realistic manner as possible. In addition to obtaining factual information, the game supports the development of so-called key competencies: the ability to negotiate, critical thinking and team work.
Robotomie is a joint project of Mathematical Physical Faculty of Charles University, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and Generation Europe. The objective of the project is to most directly transfer the current knowledge of Czech and world science into the students' minds. Project deals mainly with disciplines such as the robotics, the artificial intelligence and the cognitive science. It offers a variety of activities for teachers of ICT and biology and for the whole class groups.
